Just a quick one - can't stay long; have to jump in the bath and then go and see my Grandad.
Thumper, how are you getting on today? Any better?
How is everyone else doing?
Will update again later when I have something to say...

Glad to hear that you're doing better. What kind of comfort food? Everybody I know thinks I'm really strange, but for me, the hotter the better with comfort food! The absolute best comfort food in the entire world for me is home-made hot and sour soup with prawns and loads of chillies and lime juice! I literally drink it!
How about you? And anyone else?

ho this is remebering me that i should go to the supermarket ... ho my god, i love what i'm doing, archeology, anthropology, history of art, i mean, i love it, archeology seems soooo complicated, i'll work hard this year... they also have a system to stop people to copy internet websites, etc, so everytime you have an essay to do you should send it to this special website who will see if you copyed, and on wich website. it s upseting me coz if we have a bug or anything like this with computers, you'll never have a good mark, or a mark... and i met this american guy who s so niiiiice but i think that as usual it will not go very far ... but well, i m fine ...
nice to see that you're good too ..

Hi Lyly, I wondered how you were getting on.
Glad that things seem better now that your course has started. Anthropology and Archaeology sound really fascinating, and I love the idea of studying history of Art - that's something that I'd like to do one day.
Don't worry about the website - I'm sure that if there's any problems with the computers, the University's technical people will be able to sort it out, and also if the computers are playing up, just copy screen prints into Word and save them, (so that you have proof of the date and time that the problems happened), let the technical people know as soon as possible, and then it's their problem, not yours, as you've done the work that was asked of you and it's their responsibility to make sure that the computers work right so that you can get it checked! So honestly, don't let that worry you (I work with computers and system faults so I speak from experience).
Hope it works out with the American guy. Is he on your course? What are the other people in your classes like?
