Wow, Mandy. You can tell how much passion there is behind those words. You're a fantastic writer. I'm doing a writing course at the moment and I'm just beginning to write poetry 'their way' and it isn't easy to write like that. Exalted again!

we have some howling poetry cats here, man! would love to hear more from stephen, as well! mandy, my poems range from rhyming to non-rhyming too, all the way to short short stories.. just whatever i feel in the mood for at the time.. (since you & lyly are other elliott smith fans, i'd love to have your opinion of one of my poems.. it's on my 'papercuts' page/link in this same board - third from the bottom.. my inspiration was when i first heard the alternate version of king's xing.. it went through my head all night, even in my dreams, and i woke up and wrote a poem in the same style/meter about my childhood home.. all because the line about the skinny santa w/ the slurred voice reminded me of my alcoholic father..) (mr smith's little blue grouch!) ghost
